In a slight (but fortunate) departure from my usual games writing, I wrote a piece for Paste Comedy about the state of women in comedy and why a woman should host “The Daily Show.” I like this piece simply because it was the fastest I ever pitched and finished an essay, but it also explores the popular adage that “women aren’t funny,” which is mostly just annoying.
And I know that Jessica Williams has since come out and said she won’t host the Daily Show, but my point I think still stands.
